As you exit Kigali city looking forward to the Ruhondo Lake and Golden Monkey Adventure, you pass through the rural part of Kigali city and the Northern province enjoying the revitalizing views of the hills, valleys and landscapes of our Country of a Thousand Hills, Rwanda. Also, the experience gives an exposure to Musanze town along the way.
Itinerary
Timing is for guidance and may slightly vary along the tour:
- Day one 07h00:Pick-up in Kigali city by Universal ventures Rwanda Tours guide and departure and drive for 3.5 hours estimate.
- Boat trip in Ruhondo lake
- Lunch in Ruhondo
- Afternoon and evening:Transfer in the afternoon and check-in the hotel
- By 18h30:Dinner and overnight stay..
- Day two 06h00:Early breakfast, leave Musanze by 06h15 to be at RDB Kinigi Tourist information centre for registration and 07h00 Golden monkeys trekking
- From the Golden monkeys, enjoy Iby’iwacu cultural centre (Now called Gorilla guardians village-1.5 hours)
- Lunch and head back to Kigali to arrive around 18h00
- End of tour, debriefing and drop-off.
